NEW IDENTITY FOR PEEK-THROUGH CABINET

Home Stage Home recently staged a property that had a very interesting feature that wasn't being showcased properly.  It was a dual-access cabinet that opened from the family room as well as the master bath.  The owners were using it as board game storage but I thought that turning it into a bar would appeal to many more buyers.  These days who couldn't use a bar in their master bath?  The owners loved it as well as the people who toured the home. By adding this feature it made the property more unique and memorable which is crucial when there is so much inventory in the real estate market.

Kate,

I love it... what a great use of the space.  It took a very creative stager to see above and beyond what others might not ever imagined!  Very Chic!

Absolutely wonderful.  I would love one of those near my bath.

Very very clever

Linda ~ Thanks for your comment.  I finally got some use out of all those empty liquor bottles I have :)

Virginia ~ That bathroom was incredible.  It had a huge separate vanity adjacent to the actual bathroom.  Thanks for stopping by.

Kathy ~ Thank you!  I thought the 2-sided door was a unique feature.  Glad you liked the bar.

Kate, Such a unique feature and I love the bar!  Check out the one I made from an old TV armoire on my blog!

Very creative use for an armoire, especially since everyone has plasmas now.

Cindy G. - Maybe there should be a retail store for all those old TV armoirs converted to bars.  That's where the real money is!

Cindy B. - Pretty soon media stands will be absolete where TV will just be streamed directly into our heads!

Janice - You liked Cindy's armoire too?  Thanks for stopping in!

Michelle - Thanks for your compliment. It's nice to hear from you.

Birgit - Hi!  Glad you liked it.  It's better than looking at Yahtzee and Balderdash.

Debra - Thanks for your support and comment.  I appreciate it.

Very Cool.    You took an eye sore and made it functional and chic.

Very creative, functional and great looking Kate. I think we all wish maybe we hadn't thrown out our old armoires when they can be repurposed like this!

What a smart lady you are.  That was brilliant to think of a bar area.  That's something that both rooms could logically use.....board games in the master bath???  I don't know about that!

Connie - Thanks so much for your kind comment!

Kristine - You are so right!  Green staging is more than just a trend.  Repurposing saves time and money.

Lori - No kidding!  Family room yes but bathroom no!
