I staged a Lake Oswego, OR Townhome recently that was in the lush and lovely Red Fox Hills neighborhood. The dilemma was it was occupied by a bachelor and his gorilla! Although I hated giving the beast the boot it was obvious he had to find a new home. Now the space is appealing to more buyers than just our gorilla-lovin' bachelor. Hope you enjoy the before and afters!

These are great before and after pictures! Excellent job - this really highlights your talent well!
Very nice Kate and so-oooo much more appealing.

Diane and Bob ~ Nice to see you. Thanks for the compliment!
Linda ~ I appreciate you checking out the Gorilla. I'm glad you like the result :)
Great Staging Kate! My son had that same Gorilla in his "jungle themed" room when he was a toddler. Sold it at a garage sale...wonder if its the same one!
Somehow I think you helped him grow up and he'll probably take your ideas to the new space. :)
Very nice, Kate! I can't believe he was also sleeping on a blow-up bed! Now that he has seen how talented you are, perhaps he will have you help him with his next home.
I've worked with some of the funniest bachelors. They have some of the most unique items, I've ever seen, hence the title "bachelor"...lol!
You did a great job with this one, Kate! I hope he found a nice home for his little buddy!
Nice job Kate, that was a challenging floor plan with the fire place in the corner. Funny the things people have isn't it.
Patti ~ That Gorilla is actually a Beanie Baby. Guess they are making them bigger these days.
Laura ~ You're right! I think that's why he's wearing the necktie :)
Kathy ~ The blow-up bed was sad. He was an outdoorsy guy so that might have explained it. Nice to see you!
Cindy ~ You gotta love those bachelors and their toys. They make the nicest clients.
Sharon ~ I think the Gorilla is now living at the girlfriend's house. He's probably getting more to eat now and his laundry done too!
Margaret ~ That fireplace had me stymied! I wanted to make it more of a focal point but the TV had to stay and the fireplace itself had some wear so I decided not to arrange furniture around it. Thanks for stopping by.
Kate - Wonderful job! You gave this bachelor pad lots of vavavoom! Every room is so dramatically improved!
Great job on transforming his space. Hopefully now there will be room in his den for a cuddle SHE bear!
Fabulous work and what a transformation! Where is Buddy Bear going??
Margaret ~ Thanks for your lovely compliments. This job was a fun one :)
Liz ~ You're right! That gorilla was taking up a lot of real estate.
Cathy ~ The creature got moved to the girlfriend's house. At least he doesn't have to live in the garage. Hope my home town is treating you well.
Kate -- too funny finding a gorilla in a bachelor pad. Those bachelors really seem to need our help more than others, don't they? Nice transformation!!
Kate, good job, was just there in West Linn visiting friends. Good staging. I visited a $1,795,000 mansion while I was there, amazing place West Linn has such variety and beautiful surroundings.
Kate,
You really transformed the space...you brought the Staging touch to it. Great job!!!
I give them man credit. He had the sense to buy instead of rent and 2. he choose a stager to sell.
Hopefully his next home he will have the money and taste to stage it.
You did a great job and I'm sure that the house will sell a lot faster with your efforts
I would have put Magilla Gorilla in every shot, but, of course, that would have to go in the "outtake file."
Maureen ~ This was a very nice bachelor who luckily didn't have a LOT of bachelor stuff to edit. I think the gorilla is much happier now.
Terrilynn ~ Glad you enjoyed your visit to West Linn! We do have a wide range of homes and prices in our community. A buyer can get something modest and affordable or truly opulent. Thanks for commenting.
Linda ~ How sweet! Thank you so much.
Virginia ~ Glad you like the townhome. It was a fun job. Thanks for stopping by.
Wendy ~ I'm kind of missing the gorilla :( At least I have a few pictures of him. Hope he's happy.
Thank goodness this bachelor had enough smarts to realize he needed help. His best move was hiring you to change his cold gorilla cage into a warm home that had a much wider appeal.
Good job!
Mel
Hello Kate,
What a great job you did on all of the rooms! Dramatic changes in the before & after shots. Thank you for sharing!
Rita
Mel ~ How sweet of you to say that! I appreciate your kind comments.
